Conduit is a native mobile AI client for people who want access to their self-hosted models and agents from an iPhone or Android phone. It can connect through Open WebUI or directly to a model endpoint.
- Backend choice: Connect to Ollama, LM Studio, OpenAI-compatible APIs or OpenRouter without needing an Open WebUI account for direct connections.
- Mobile conversations: Read streaming replies with code, math, Mermaid diagrams and citations, and send text, links or images from other apps through the share sheet.
- Open WebUI workspace: Access models, knowledge, prompts, tools and skills, with channels, web search, image generation and terminal access when your server provides them.
- Voice and home screen access: Hold hands-free voice conversations or start prompts through widgets and quick actions.
- Hermes agents: Follow tool calls as they run, approve sensitive actions and use scheduled jobs that continue after the phone locks.
Conduit is free and open source under GPL-3.0. It supports SSO and reverse-proxy authentication, including Authelia, Authentik and Cloudflare Tunnel.
Chats, notes and drafts are stored on your device and remain available offline. Connected models run on your selected server or provider, and requests go directly there without a developer-operated relay. Hosted providers such as OpenRouter receive those requests. Credentials use iOS Keychain or Android Keystore.
