Jenny
An Android AI agent with on-device memory and scheduled tasks that connects to cloud APIs or local models through Ollama and LM Studio.

Jenny is a personal AI agent for Android that remembers context across conversations and handles tasks while the screen is off. It's for people who want a persistent assistant on their main phone or a spare Android device.
- On-device memory: It turns conversations into plain Markdown notes and reusable procedures that remain available when you switch model providers.
- Scheduled work: It can send reminders, perform one-time actions and run recurring jobs, with access to workspace files, Python execution and web search.
- Mini-app creation: Describe an app in chat and it builds an interface with persistent storage whose actions the agent can use in conversations or scheduled tasks.
- Linked wikis: It compiles notes, articles, PDFs and web pages into connected Markdown pages with a graph view; updates require a request or scheduled job.
- Home screen and remote chat: It can serve as your Android launcher, or you can reach it through an optional Telegram bridge whose messages pass through Telegram's servers.
The app is free and open source under AGPL-3.0, runs on Android 8+, and requires no Jenny account. It supports Anthropic and OpenAI-compatible APIs, including OpenRouter. Inference runs through your chosen provider or on your own hardware with Ollama or LM Studio. With a model on your local network and the Telegram bridge off, it can work without internet access.
Memory, files, conversations and generated apps reside on the phone. Cloud model providers receive prompts, conversation history, tool results and files the agent reads. Android automatic backup can copy app storage, including plain-text API keys, to your Google account. Python execution has no separate sandbox. The app requires building from source, and its launcher lacks widgets, folders and icon packs.
