Vibe-Research is a local financial research workbench for individual investors, with a Chinese-language browser interface and backend on your computer. It saves documents, research records and task state locally, while subscription services or model APIs supply AI reasoning. Relevant document passages go to the selected model, so local storage doesn't make the workflow offline.
Company research covers A-share businesses, financials, earnings expectations, valuation and risks. Reports retain sources, calculation inputs, conflicting figures and missing data. Bull/bear debates compare arguments, and backtesting checks historical rules after resolving missing conditions. These reports remain searchable for later questions.
Market views collect news, filings and industry signals. Watchlists and portfolio records cover A-share, US and Hong Kong stocks, but full company research covers A-shares only. Portfolio records don't place trades. The document library accepts PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown and CSV, with source citations and page references for text PDFs; scans need OCR first.
Agent research is optional. Codex subscriptions use Codex Harness, Claude subscriptions use Claude Code Agent, and WorkBuddy or CodeBuddy use CodeBuddy Code Agent. Verified direct API chat bypasses the agent and its tools. Provider templates include OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen, GLM, Kimi and MiMo, but the interface distinguishes tested connections from unverified templates. Subscriptions and API access are supplied by the user.
The open-source workbench uses the MIT license and runs on Windows 11, macOS and Linux as source-delivered software with a local browser UI.
