Fahd Mirza explains DeepEP V2 and TileKernels as infrastructure supporting DeepSeek V4. This is a conceptual architecture overview with diagrams, not a local installation guide or an independently measured benchmark.

The DeepEP section explains token routing across GPUs in a mixture-of-experts model. Rather than sending all tokens, waiting, computing and waiting again, the presenter describes small waves of work that overlap communication, computation and returning results. He reports nearly twice the throughput but does not demonstrate a benchmark or specify its test conditions. The source description links the V2 pull request in the official DeepEP repository.

The speaker also introduces compressed sparse attention and heavily compressed attention as ways of reducing the memory needed for long context. These are his explanation of the V4 architecture, rather than evidence that every deployment will achieve the claimed memory savings.

TileKernels is presented as a library of optimized GPU kernels, with TileLang as the Python-oriented language used to write them. The explanation covers fusing operations involved in attention, expert routing and precision casting. The speaker links the official TileKernels repository and briefly refers to previous model tests without performing them in this video.
