SuperAGI is a self-hosted AI agent framework for developers who want to build task automation and manage agents through a browser interface. It runs locally in Docker and can use local LLMs with a GPU. The Python project uses the MIT license, so you can modify it for your own applications.
Agents can run concurrently. Toolkits connect them to external systems and third-party plugins, while a toolkit marketplace supplies extensions for agent workflows. An action console lets you give agents input and permissions during a run, which matters when automated work still needs human decisions.
Agent memory storage retains information for later runs, and connections to multiple vector databases support workflows that draw on stored knowledge. ReAct workflows give agents predefined steps for automated tasks. The framework also supports custom fine-tuned models for business-specific uses, performance telemetry for inspecting agent behavior, and controls for token usage.
The repository documents local Docker and DigitalOcean deployment. Local deployment puts the agent framework on your hardware, while toolkits can still interact with external services. Its browser interface opens on the local Docker deployment.

Activepieces brings AI agents and workflow automation into one workspace for teams that need to connect their apps and internal data. It runs on your own servers with Docker or Kubernetes, or as a managed cloud service. An isolated deployment can keep platform data on its own infrastructure; connected apps and model providers may still require external access. Its core and app integration pieces are MIT-licensed.
AstrBot brings AI assistants into messaging apps such as Telegram, Discord, Slack, QQ and WeCom. It's an open source platform under AGPL-3.0 for people building personal companions, customer support bots or team automation. You can run it on your own computer or server, including through Docker, or use its desktop app for browser-style chat.
ChatDev is a self-hosted platform for building teams of AI agents through a visual workflow editor. It's for people who want agents to collaborate on research, data analysis or software projects without writing the orchestration code themselves. You define each agent's role and how information passes between them.
DocsGPT is an MIT-licensed, open-source platform for teams that want AI search, assistants and agents over their own documents. It can run on your servers with local models, including fully air-gapped deployments where documents and questions stay inside your network.
