SWE AF is a self-hosted system that assigns software development work to a team of AI agents. Built on AgentField, it suits developers who want to delegate changes across a repository or several connected codebases, with agents handling planning, coding, review and testing through to a pull request.
The orchestration runs locally or on your server, including through Docker; Railway is another deployment option. Model requests go to external AI providers and require provider credentials and an internet connection. The project is open source under Apache 2.0.
Its main distinction is how it responds when work gets stuck. A failed review feeds corrections back to the coder. Persistent failures can lead to a different approach, a smaller task, or a revised plan for the remaining work. If agents accept reduced scope, the system records the resulting technical debt and its severity.
Agents can work in parallel in separate Git worktrees, while scheduling respects dependencies between tasks. This supports changes that span an application and its shared libraries or dependent services. Reviewers and testers check individual issues, and a final verification checks the result against acceptance criteria.
SWE AF supports Claude Code, OpenCode and the OpenAI Codex CLI. You can assign different models to coding, architecture and QA roles, using providers such as Anthropic, OpenRouter, OpenAI and Google. Optional learning carries repository conventions and earlier failure patterns into later tasks. Checkpoints let interrupted builds resume.

AgentFlow is an MIT-licensed Python framework for developers who want several coding agents to share a workflow. It connects Codex, Claude, Kimi, and Pi tasks in dependency graphs, so planning can feed implementation and parallel reviews can feed a combined result. Agents can run in local Docker containers or on remote machines through SSH, EC2, and ECS.

AgentsMesh coordinates AI coding agents across your own machines for developers and teams managing concurrent work. Runners execute agents on local hardware or servers you control, while a shared console lets you assign tasks and follow progress. The paid hosted service provides the control platform; private deployments support Docker, Kubernetes, and air-gapped environments. You bring your own AI API keys, so model access depends on the agents and providers you use.

cook coordinates Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode so developers can give coding tasks repeated reviews or compare competing implementations. It runs as a CLI in a local terminal or CI environment, with a Claude Code skill also available. It requires Node.js and one of the supported coding agents.
Claw-Empire is a self-hosted AI agent manager that presents collaborative work as a pixel-art office. It's for developers and other people who want to delegate projects to several agents, assign department roles and review their output in one place. The office view shows agents working and meeting, while a Kanban board tracks tasks through completion.
Code Buddy is an AI coding assistant for developers who want a terminal agent running on their own machine, with a choice of local or cloud models. It reads repositories, edits code and runs commands on Linux, macOS and Windows. Ollama keeps model inference local without an API key or account; cloud providers send model requests off the machine. Routing includes automatic provider failover.
Codeg is an open source AI coding workspace for developers who want Claude Code, Codex, Gemini and other agents working together on their own computer or server. It runs as a desktop app, a standalone server or a Docker container and uses the Apache 2.0 license.
