unleashd is a local workspace for developers who use several coding assistants and want to manage their conversations and agent swarms in one place. It runs a browser interface and server on your own machine, with orchestration built around Git worktrees. You can review work across projects without keeping track of separate terminal histories.
It discovers saved conversations from Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode, groups them by project, and lets you search across them. It can launch agents through Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI; OpenCode support is limited to reading existing sessions. Running agents requires an installed, authenticated supported CLI.
Swarms can keep working as background jobs while you inspect and steer them through chat. The same interface lets you check progress, investigate a failing worker and review output. Run analytics show iterations, merges, rejected work and individual worker timelines, so you can examine what happened during a run rather than rely only on its final result.
Persistent agents called Buddies retain curated memory and journal notes between conversations. Their identities, work, channels and run records live in a local SQLite database. Buddies can record outcomes and lessons, while changes to their behavior and authority contract remain subject to owner review.
The server accepts connections only from your machine by default. Access from another device over a LAN or Tailscale requires a shared access key.

AgentRQ is a self-hosted task manager for people supervising AI agents on their own computers. Agents can ask for decisions, report progress, and receive tasks while you follow their work and reply from a browser, phone, or desktop app. It also offers a hosted service; agents run on your machines, while the task dashboard runs on your own server or the hosted service.

Helix is a paid, self-hosted platform for engineering teams running coding agents in parallel. Each task gets an isolated Linux desktop with an editor, browser and terminal, so agents can build and test applications while teammates watch or take control through their browsers.

Ringer runs parallel AI coding agents on your machine and checks their output by executing tests or other validation commands. It's for developers who want to delegate implementation while keeping planning and review with a stronger model. The aim is to reduce model spending on routine coding work without relying on workers' claims that they're finished.
gptme is a self-hosted AI agent that works directly in your terminal, with access to your files and installed tools. It's for developers who want a coding assistant in their own environment, and people who want an agent for data analysis or other knowledge work. The software is free under the MIT license and doesn't require a gptme account.
HarnessX is a self-hosted Python framework for developers and researchers building AI agents for coding, research, or assistant tasks. It separates model selection from agent behavior, so you can change memory, tools, or safety checks without rewriting the agent. It's open source under MIT.
Project Orchestrator is a self-hosted coordination tool for developers working with multiple AI coding agents. It keeps code knowledge, development plans, and architectural decisions in a shared store so agents can reuse context across tasks and projects. It runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux, with desktop apps and Docker deployment available.
