This tutorial walks through a self-hosted ActivePieces Community Edition installation on a Hostinger VPS using Docker Manager. The presenter describes the open source edition as allowing unlimited flows and team members, while some advanced administration features require payment. Hostinger sponsors the walkthrough.
The selected VPS has two CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM. The presenter selects this configuration for his personal use. In hPanel, he selects the VPS, installs Docker, and opens Compose's one-click deployment catalog. After selecting ActivePieces and deploying it, he opens the project and creates an account with a name and password.
The dashboard tour starts with workflow templates. A selected template still needs its connections configured: the Stripe example requires a secret API key. The presenter also shows where to create a flow from scratch and add members to a team project.
The admin panel includes AI provider settings, workers, health information, and triggers. Branding and other advanced options appear locked behind paid features. The final demonstration creates a data table that connects to flows.
