This walkthrough compares FIBO 2 Dev and Edit Turbo in ComfyUI for image generation, single-photo editing, and composition from multiple references. The workflow uses 30 steps with CFG 5 for Dev and four steps with CFG 1 for Turbo. These are adjustable presets.

Setup covers safetensors and GGUF checkpoints, a shared Qwen3-VL 4B text encoder, and the Flux 2 VAE. The presenter instructs viewers to update ComfyUI for FIBO 2 support and install missing nodes. GGUF files range from about 5.2 to 9.4 GB, but the speaker cautions that file size does not establish total VRAM use or speed.

The controls support text prompts and numbered reference images. Reference inputs should stay consecutive, starting with Image 1. For single-image edits, matching the source aspect ratio helps preserve framing because the workflow resizes and center-crops the reference.

In the presenter's tests, both models produce readable labels and convincing materials, but both generate six cups when asked for five and miss accurate Fibonacci diagrams. Dev follows the complex workshop prompt more closely. Both replace a shirt while largely retaining the subject and background. Turbo transfers the complete outfit more accurately in the three-reference test, though neither preserves the station exactly. These examples show differences within this workflow rather than a universal winner.
