This tutorial tests Krea 2 Identity Edit, a community LoRA for instruction-based image editing in ComfyUI. The workflow accepts up to two reference images and requires the custom comfyui-krea2edit node for image conditioning. It is not an official Krea AI release.

The presenter uses v1.1 for most tests and switches to v1 for character replacement, following the developer's recommendation. Turbo runs at 10 steps with CFG 1; Raw uses 20 steps with CFG 3. The creator lists Linux, an RTX 3060 with 12 GB VRAM, 48 GB system RAM, and Krea 2 Turbo BF16 at 728x1368 resolution. These describe the test setup rather than minimum hardware requirements for local AI image editing.

Tests cover shirt recoloring, adding a baseball cap and glove, beach scene generation, and edits using two people as references. The presenter finds that full scene generation preserves likeness more convincingly than localized changes, which often soften existing details. Raw produces sharper results in some examples, but can alter unrequested details or drift further from the reference identity. Turbo follows the beach scene prompt more closely. In the v1 gorilla replacement test, the presenter prefers Turbo's realism, though it misses the requested shirt and Coke can.
