This tutorial follows a MonkeyCode build of an AI subscription tracker, from the first prompt to a published app. The presenter uses the hosted browser interface and reports needing no editor installation or API key. The description discloses a paid partnership with Chaitin Tech.

The workflow starts with planning and verification skills, plus explicit rules for monthly and yearly totals. After adding multi-currency support with skills disabled, the presenter finds that the app adds amounts in different currencies without converting them. A debugging prompt specifies conversion before totaling, live exchange rates, caching, a fallback rate table and yen formatting. The presenter then demonstrates corrected totals.

Later prompts add sticky totals, filters and savings alerts for unused subscriptions. An AI code review reports potential cross-site scripting issues, a missing content security policy, unbounded cost values and exchange-rate handling concerns. The agent applies fixes and writes verification tests; this is the demonstrated review process, not an independent security certification.

The app is published through MonkeyCode's task interface. The speaker says the open source platform can be self-hosted on personal hardware, but demonstrates hosted use rather than local installation. He positions it as a build-and-deploy coding assistant rather than an autocomplete tool.
