This tutorial demonstrates Obscura Remova, an LTX-2.3 LoRA for removing foreground obstructions from video, inside Wan2GP. The speaker tests bead curtains and text removal, then discusses cases where the output changes lighting or removes part of the subject. Wan2GP is described as open source software that can run locally with your own GPUs; this demonstration uses an A40 on RunPod.
The setup selects LTX-2.3 22 billion with distilled 1.1 and the LTX2 raw control-video format. After importing a clip, the speaker selects generation based on the control video, its audio, and a text prompt. The prompt follows the form "remove the X in the foreground." The walkthrough downloads the LoRA through a Hugging Face file link, enables advanced mode, selects one phase, and sets the LoRA strength. For system RAM problems on the A40, the speaker uses performance profile 3+, described as suitable for low RAM and high VRAM.
The bead-curtain example targets 1080p, 16:9 output lasting 10 seconds. The speaker reports a 32-minute generation time. At strength 1.5, the output looks darker to them; 1.25 produces lighting closer to the input. Text removal also uses 1.5. Results vary: rain remains even at strength 3, and a tiger briefly loses an ear. These examples show both the intended workflow and the kinds of unintended edits viewers should check.
