This tutorial explains how to reuse Superwhisper dictations through the Shortcuts app. The presenter shows an app folder containing settings, modes, added AI models, and recordings with transcripts and metadata. He says the default location is the Documents folder and shows where to find the path under Configuration > Advanced settings.
The setup requires enabling Allow Running Scripts in Shortcuts' advanced settings so the supplied shortcuts can read recording files. If the Superwhisper folder uses another location, users need to update the paths inside the shortcuts. The demonstration launches them from the menu bar.
One example fixes a dictation recorded in the wrong mode: the presenter selects the intended mode and reprocesses the existing audio into bullet points. Separate shortcuts paste the latest raw transcript or AI-processed result. A dynamic version chooses the AI result when the recording's mode had a language model enabled; otherwise, it returns the raw voice transcript.
The presenter then replaces the dynamic shortcut's paste action with Create Note, uses its result as the note contents, and sets the current date as the name. He also mentions keyboard triggers through other automation apps and says Superwhisper supports deep links for opening settings, switching modes, and starting recordings.
