WorkAny

WorkAny Desktop is an AI agent for people who want to delegate file work, document creation and coding tasks in plain language. The app executes tasks on your machine and connects to Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter or custom model providers. Requests to external providers leave your machine, so local task execution doesn't make it an offline AI app.

It can organize folders using file types, content and context. For office work, it creates formatted documents and reports, Excel spreadsheets with formulas, and presentations with content and visual design. These are generated files you can inspect and revise.

For web projects, WorkAny builds React applications with Tailwind CSS and provides live previews. It also edits code and previews HTML and code artifacts. Streaming responses and visual feedback let you follow a multi-step task while the agent works.

Its tools cover file operations, shell execution and web search. Code execution takes place in an isolated sandbox. The desktop workspace brings task execution and artifact previews together, so you can review the output within the app.

MCP support connects the agent to external tools and services. Custom skills let you create and share specialized workflows for recurring tasks.
