Dograh
A self-hosted voice AI platform builds inbound and outbound calling agents with visual workflows, your own AI providers, and telephony integrations.

Dograh is an open source voice AI platform for teams building agents that answer or place phone calls. It's a self-hosted alternative to Vapi and Retell, with control over conversation flows and a choice of AI providers.
- Conversation builder: Design agent instructions, tools, conversation branches, and call outcomes visually, then try conversations through browser audio or chat.
- Telephony and handoff: Connect agents to Twilio, Vonage, Telnyx, Plivo, Vobiz, Cloudonix, or Asterisk ARI, with transfers to people where the telephony provider supports them.
- AI provider choice: Use speech-to-speech models or combine separate LLM, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech providers with your own API keys.
- Coding assistant access: An included MCP server lets Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP clients inspect agents, create workflows, and save draft edits from natural-language requests.
- Programmatic agents: Python and Node SDKs support agent creation and outbound calls, while the Python backend allows customization of provider integrations.
Dograh runs through Docker on your own machine or server. Self-hosting is free under the BSD-2-Clause license; a paid managed cloud service is also available. Self-hosting puts the platform on your infrastructure, while your choice of AI and telephony providers determines which connected services process call data. Call artifacts can stay in bundled MinIO storage or use AWS/S3-compatible storage. Anonymous usage telemetry is enabled by default and can be disabled.
