iZotope Nectar is a proprietary collection of vocal processing plugins for producers, audio engineers, musicians, and creators working with singing or dialogue. Its Vocal Assistant recommends a starting point for a mix that you can adjust to suit the recording. The assistant sets EQ, reduces sibilance, and creates space for the voice within the mix.

Nectar combines corrective processing with creative vocal production. Auto-Level keeps vocal levels consistent, while vocal unmasking helps a voice sit clearly alongside other sounds. For recordings that need a particular sound, reference matching can use an acapella track as a guide for both tone and loudness. That gives you a concrete reference when shaping your own vocal rather than relying only on processing suggestions.

Voices creates vocal layers, and Backer adds artificial background singers. These tools serve a different purpose from balancing a lead vocal: they let producers build supporting parts and shape the vocal arrangement.
