Labaik
A desktop AI client for macOS that combines offline Ollama chat with cloud models using your own API keys, plus coding and research tools.

Labaik is a desktop AI workspace for people who use chat models for writing, research and coding. It brings local and cloud models into the same conversation interface, with model switching during a chat.
- Model comparison: Crew mode sends a request to several models or specialist roles in parallel so you can compare answers or combine their results.
- Coding and file work: The app can edit files, review code, run checks and preview web tools inside a conversation; Plan mode blocks tool use and file edits until you approve the plan.
- Browser research: Its built-in browser can read pages and interact with websites, while Deep Research gathers multiple sources into a cited investigation; web research needs internet access.
- Memory and routines: You can save preferences and project context for later chats, import ChatGPT history and schedule tasks whose results appear in a session and desktop notification.
- Spreadsheets and extensions: It creates Excel-compatible workbooks with formulas and supports MCP servers and custom skills for additional tools and workflows.
Labaik is free and open source under the MIT license, with macOS downloads for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Local chats use Ollama and work fully offline after model download. Cloud models, including Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Kimi and Qwen, require your own provider API keys and send requests directly to that provider. There's no Labaik account or backend. History, saved memory, settings and credentials stay on your disk.
