This Chinese-language tutorial shows how the presenter connects OpenAI Codex to DeepSeek through CC Switch. The Windows walkthrough uses a third-party API for the coding assistant; the local routing setting does not mean the model runs on the computer.

The presenter installs Codex and signs in with ChatGPT, then downloads CC Switch v3.16.1. They say older releases will not work for this setup. The download list includes Linux, Mac and Windows builds, but the demonstration uses the Windows portable ZIP rather than the MSI installer.

In CC Switch, the presenter adds DeepSeek as a Codex provider. The preset fills in the provider name and API request address. They create a key in DeepSeek's API platform, paste it into CC Switch and add the provider. Next, they enable local routing and the routing master switch, select Codex for routing, and activate the DeepSeek entry. CC Switch prompts them to restart the client for the change to take effect.

After restarting Codex, the presenter sends a greeting and receives a reply. They then check CC Switch's usage statistics, which show gpt5.4 mapped to DeepSeek. The presenter treats this as confirmation that the request used DeepSeek's API. The example tests a short chat request, rather than a coding task. Qwen appears as another model option in the introduction, but the tutorial does not configure or test it.
