This Chinese-language tutorial explains how CC Switch manages API provider settings for Codex and other coding tools. The presenter describes it as a free, open source application for macOS, Windows 10+, and Linux. The walkthrough uses the Windows portable edition; the description links to release v3.16.0.
The main example connects the Codex desktop coding assistant to DeepSeek. The presenter adds the DeepSeek preset, pastes an API key, enables local routing for Codex desktop, saves the settings, and restarts Codex. In the demonstrated request history, GPT-5 mini maps to V4 Flash, even though the model label in Codex does not clearly identify DeepSeek.
A second example adds a custom CP relay. The presenter enters the relay endpoint and API key, enables the provider, then restarts Codex to reload its configuration. The example uses a /v1 endpoint and describes 8317 as the usual CP port. The speaker says a relay supporting the standard OpenAI format does not require the routing layer used in the DeepSeek example.
The walkthrough also covers request and token statistics, automatic failover, SOCKS proxy settings, MCP and Skill management, local backups, and optional WebDAV sync. The presenter says API keys stay locally stored. The local proxy routes requests to configured providers; this tutorial does not demonstrate running a local LLM.
