Draw Things is an AI image generation app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that keeps generation on your device and works offline. It's for people who want to create and edit images without sending that work to a cloud service, including artists developing character concepts or trying out apparel designs.
You can generate images from text prompts, restyle existing photos and turn images into video clips. Its infinite canvas lets you extend an image beyond its original edges or fill selected areas. Local LoRA training lets you train model adaptations on your own hardware, so training can stay private too. Models are available to download from the app's servers.
Compute can also run elsewhere. The app can send work across your network to a self-hosted Draw Things server on a Mac or a Linux system with an NVIDIA CUDA GPU. The Linux server is available through Docker. This gives you a way to use separate hardware while keeping processing on systems you control.
Optional managed cloud compute sends tasks such as image generation to Draw Things' servers and requires an account. Local generation remains available on your device.
The community repository publishes core code for image generation models, samplers and LoRA training under GPL-3.0. Its self-hosted server is open source, and the repository also provides a macOS command-line tool for local inference and LoRA training.
