FaceFusion is an AI face manipulation tool for photos and videos that processes media on your own machine. It's aimed at content creators, VFX artists, and film studios that want control over their footage and personal data. Local processing keeps that media on your hardware rather than sending it to a cloud service.
Face swapping is its central feature, with precision masks and frame-level controls for adjusting results. It also works with pretrained DeepFaceLive celebrity models that don't require a source image. Beyond swapping, you can edit head rotation, eye gaze, expressions, and mouth shape, or match lip movements to an audio track. Expression restoration and age modification provide further control over a face's appearance.
The processing tools extend to the rest of the image. Face enhancement improves facial detail, while frame enhancement upscales video. Background removal and replacement, monochrome footage colorization, and visual overlays for checking face detection and masks cover other parts of a production workflow. FaceFusion supports processing across multiple GPUs.
The source code is available, along with Windows and macOS installers. The source installation requires technical skills. Separate HyperSwap plugins connect face swapping, mask export, and video composition with After Effects, Premiere Pro, Nuke, and DaVinci Resolve. HyperSwap also has a cloud API offering through Segmind, which processes work outside your machine.

SadTalker generates talking head videos from a single portrait and an audio recording. The project states an Apache 2.0 license and removal of its earlier noncommercial restriction. It runs locally on Windows, Linux and macOS, and suits creators who want to animate a face without recording a person on camera. Its animation includes facial expressions and head movement, with examples covering speech and singing in different languages.

CodeFormer restores degraded faces in photos and videos using a learned library of facial details and a Transformer model. It's for people restoring images on their own hardware, developers adding face enhancement to a project, and researchers working on image restoration. Its main distinction is an adjustable balance between visual quality and fidelity to the input face.

Auto-Photoshop-StableDiffusion Plugin brings Stable Diffusion generation into Photoshop for artists who want to use AI alongside their existing editing tools. It connects to AUTOMATIC1111 or ComfyUI, so you can generate images within Photoshop and continue editing and saving them there.
Fooocus is a free, open-source AI image generator for people who want to create images on their own computer without spending much time tuning settings. It uses Stable Diffusion XL and automatically expands prompts with a local GPT-2 engine. Generation works offline once the required models are downloaded, so prompts and images can stay on your machine.
Krita AI Diffusion brings image generation into Krita for artists who want to paint and edit in the same workspace. The open source plugin is licensed under GNU GPL v3.0 and can run generation for free on your own hardware through ComfyUI. Interstice.cloud offers a separate online generation service for people without a suitable GPU.
SD.Next is a self-hosted web interface for artists, researchers and people who want to generate and edit images or videos on their own hardware. It builds on Automatic1111 WebUI's original codebase and supports Stable Diffusion alongside other diffusion models. It's open source under Apache 2.0.
