Instant NGP
Local neural graphics software reconstructs 3D scenes from photos on Windows and Linux, with NVIDIA GPU training, interactive viewing and Python bindings.

Instant NGP is neural graphics software for researchers and developers working on 3D reconstruction and rendering. It trains representations of scenes and images on a single GPU, then lets you explore the results interactively.
- Photo-based reconstruction: Build NeRF scenes from photographs and camera poses, then view them from different angles using compatible datasets such as SILVR and DroneDeploy.
- Surfaces, images and volumes: Learn surfaces from meshes using signed distance functions, represent high-resolution images with neural networks, and learn denoised volumes from volumetric path-tracer output.
- Interactive viewing: Explore trained scenes in the GUI or view them in VR through an OpenXR-compatible runtime, including OculusVR and SteamVR.
- Python experiments: Automate controlled experiments and access the viewer's capabilities through Python bindings.
The software runs locally on Windows and Linux and requires an NVIDIA GPU with CUDA. Tensor cores improve performance when available. Training can take seconds for some tasks, and trained scenes support real-time rendering. Optional OptiX support accelerates mesh-based surface training; optional Vulkan support enables DLSS.
