Remembra Relay
A coding agent memory service carries handoffs between MCP tools and machines, with a free MIT-licensed self-hosted core and optional cloud storage.

Remembra Relay saves coding session handoffs so developers can switch assistants or resume a project on another machine without reconstructing its progress. The next agent receives a brief of completed work, unfinished tasks and failing checks.
- Recorded progress: Session hooks capture commits, changed files and unpushed work from git; Claude Code and Codex hooks also extract test runs and open tasks from local session transcripts.
- Qualified briefs: Agent-written summaries carry an unverified label, and briefs can flag claims that contradict recorded facts; handoffs written only through MCP contain the agent's unchecked declarations.
- Agent connections: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code and Kimi Code have verified session hooks, while Cursor and other MCP-compatible agents can read briefs and write handoffs through MCP tools.
- Notes and history: An inbox holds messages for later sessions, and the dashboard shows project status and an ordered history of handoffs.
The core is open source under the MIT license and free to self-host. The optional hosted service keeps shared memory in the cloud. Project-scoped keys restrict access to individual projects. Cursor's session hooks remain unverified, and the server doesn't independently verify the origin of reported facts.
Session transcripts stay on your machine. Extracted handoff data goes to the selected server after pattern-based secret redaction, which can miss passwords written as ordinary prose.
