SpeechPulse is a dictation and transcription app for people who want to write by voice or turn recordings into text. Its Whisper speech recognition runs locally, so dictation can work without an internet connection.

• Dictation across apps: Speak into text fields in office apps, browsers and text editors, with automatic speech detection or push-to-talk input.
• Punctuation and vocabulary: Choose automatic punctuation or dictate punctuation marks yourself, and train new words.
• Recording transcription: Convert audio files into text with automatic speaker identification, including formats such as MP3, WAV, M4A and FLAC.
• Languages and subtitles: Transcribe speech in languages including French, German, Japanese, Chinese and Russian, translate speech into English, and export timed SRT or VTT subtitles from audio and video.
• AI text processing: Use language models or LLM APIs to correct grammar and spelling, summarize text, or format dictation as emails and notes; external API processing sends text to the chosen service.

SpeechPulse is paid software for Windows and macOS. Offline speech recognition keeps voice and transcription data on your machine. AI templates that call an external provider require connectivity to that service.
