Tide Commander is a self-hosted workspace for developers coordinating several AI coding agents across projects. It brings agent conversations and project tools into a browser interface so you can assign work and inspect the results together.

  • Agent teams: Boss agents delegate work based on each subordinate's recent activity and remaining context, with structured plans for dependencies and parallel tasks.
  • Live progress: Follow command output, tool activity and context usage through a 3D workspace, a lighter 2D view or a dashboard.
  • Code review: Browse and edit project files, inspect conversation-linked files, compare branches and resolve Git merge conflicts visually.
  • Persistent roles: Agents retain their instructions, skills and conversation context across restarts, while custom classes define specialist behavior and tool permissions.
  • Infrastructure and shared access: Review PM2 service logs, query databases and monitor Docker containers alongside agents; multiple people can share the workspace and reconnect from a phone or tablet.

Claude Code and Codex work alongside OpenCode, Grok and Pi. The app runs on your PC or server and requires an installed, authenticated agent CLI. Hosting the workspace yourself doesn't determine where the selected agent processes model requests.

Tide Commander is free and open source under MIT, with no app sign-up or telemetry. Its integrations include Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Jira. Stored secrets are encrypted and decrypted on the server without reaching the browser client.
