Uploaded on March 3, 2023, this tutorial covers Easy Diffusion 2.5, with the interface showing version 2.5.0.22. It documents that release's setup and features rather than current installation guidance.

The presenter downloads the Windows archive, extracts it, moves the folder to the C drive, and launches the included start script. The first launch installs dependencies and opens a browser interface. He reports that this took about ten minutes on his machine. The download page also lists Linux; the demonstration covers Windows and does not provide a Mac setup.

The interface tour covers prompts, negative prompts, samplers, image dimensions, PNG output and live previews. Image modifiers supply style suggestions. The presenter recommends an Nvidia graphics card and says the software apparently works with 4 GB of VRAM. He mentions a CPU option but warns that generation could be slow; these are his observations, not tested minimum requirements.

The bundled model is Stable Diffusion 1.4. To add DreamShaper, he downloads a checkpoint from CivitAI, places it in the models/stable-diffusion folder, and refreshes the interface. The model then appears in the selector for local AI image generation. He also sets an output directory, enables saving, checks the resulting image files, and demonstrates restarting with the same launch script.
