Herdr is a terminal multiplexer for organizing coding agents across projects, tabs and panes. The tutorial covers session navigation, mouse controls and keyboard shortcuts. The speaker uses Ctrl+B as the prefix, followed by V or minus to split panes and C to create a tab. Supported agents appear in a status area; his own agent does not register in the initial demonstration.

The main workflow uses Claude Code as a coordinator. A custom /ticket command takes a GitHub issue number, creates a separate Herdr tab, Git branch and worktree, then starts another agent with the task prompt. The speaker runs two issues in parallel and shows a pull request for a documentation fix. He also gives an agent Herdr's guide and asks it to change the configuration to the Rose Pine theme and reload it.

A larger example assigns Neo the task of adding Google Gemini provider support to the speaker's coding assistant. Neo produces a plan and later a pull request, but the speaker says the result still needs testing and more review. He also describes handing an entire milestone to a coordinator, while cautioning against using that approach for every task. This is a terminal orchestration tutorial; it does not establish that the demonstrated models run locally or work offline.
