Voibe

Voibe is a paid AI dictation and meeting notes app for people handling confidential work, including legal, healthcare and finance professionals. It types spoken text into other apps and captures meetings on a Mac without a bot joining the call. Dictation works on Mac and Windows; meeting capture is Mac-only.

The local option uses Whisper models on Apple Silicon Macs, including M1 and later hardware. Dictation can work fully offline, with audio staying on your device, but optional AI text formatting must be off for all processing to remain local. Intel Macs and Windows PCs use cloud dictation. Windows requires an internet connection.

For everyday writing, Voibe adds punctuation, removes filler words and recognizes custom vocabulary such as client names, case citations and medical terms. Spoken shortcuts can insert saved clauses, addresses or sign-offs. It accepts dictation wherever you can type, including Word, Outlook, browser-based EHRs and coding editors. Mac users can see and edit a draft while speaking.

Meeting capture works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other Mac meeting apps. Cloud models produce transcripts and summaries, while the finished notes stay on your Mac. You can choose summary templates, export PDFs and ask questions about decisions or assigned tasks. Meeting chat also uses cloud processing.

Voibe uses open-source models for speech and formatting. Its cloud providers retain neither audio nor text, and audio is deleted after processing. Dictation and meeting content aren't used to train AI. Voibe publishes its cloud providers and data paths, and a BAA is available on request.
