AI Job Search

An AI job application assistant evaluates postings, tailors CVs and prepares interviews through Claude Code, with local files and paid cloud AI access.

AI Job Search is a job application framework for people who want to assess roles and prepare tailored documents from their own career profile. It runs through Claude Code on your machine, but AI work uses Anthropic's service and requires paid Claude access or API credits, so it isn't fully offline.

  • Job fit evaluation: Assess postings against your skills, experience, location and career preferences, with built-in portal searches focused on Danish boards such as Jobindex, Jobnet and Akademikernes Jobbank.
  • Reviewed applications: Draft a tailored CV and cover letter, then have a separate agent research the employer and critique the documents before revision.
  • PDF checks: Compile and visually inspect application documents for layout problems, with an optional text-extraction check for applicant tracking system readability and keyword coverage.
  • Relevant, supported claims: Shorten CVs according to relevance to the role and flag skills your profile doesn't support rather than inserting them as qualifications.
  • Interview preparation: Prepare for interviews using your candidate profile and examples from your own experience.

The framework is open source under MIT. Profile and application files live locally, while Claude Code sends the context needed for AI work to Anthropic. The core profiling, evaluation and drafting workflow works across languages and countries; the built-in job portal searches target Denmark and can be adapted to other boards. Document generation uses LaTeX and requires a local TeX installation, alongside Python and Bun.
