DaVinci Resolve Studio is a paid desktop video editor for macOS, Windows and Linux that combines editing, color grading, visual effects and audio post production. It's for editors, colorists and studios who want AI tools within the same application they use to finish a film or video.

The DaVinci AI Neural Engine handles tasks that otherwise take repeated manual work. Magic Mask isolates and tracks objects, facial recognition organizes footage by the people in it, and smart reframe adjusts framing. Super Scale enlarges lower-resolution footage, while Speed Warp handles slow motion and other speed changes. Scene cut detection identifies edits in existing footage.

For image cleanup, Studio combines temporal noise reduction with AI spatial noise reduction. It also has object removal, lens distortion correction and restoration effects for dust and flicker. Audio tools include AI voice isolation, a dialogue separator and a music remixer, alongside Dolby Atmos production and mastering.

Processing uses your computer's hardware, with support for multiple GPUs. On Mac, Studio uses Metal and Apple Silicon unified memory GPUs; Windows and Linux support CUDA and OpenCL. Hardware acceleration also covers H.264 and H.265 encoding and decoding.

Studio supports professional 10-bit formats, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ grading and delivery, plus stereoscopic 3D projects. Blackmagic Cloud provides cloud collaboration, while remote monitoring lets clients watch a live feed on a computer, iPad or iPhone. Python and Lua scripting and workflow plug-ins connect it to studio automation and local or remote media asset management.
