GooeyPi gives developers a desktop interface for Pi, OMP, and Prime Agent on macOS, Windows, and Linux. It runs on your computer alongside local projects and agent sessions. The app is open source under the MIT license, and each agent keeps control of its models, provider logins, and session history.
You can switch between agents without interrupting work running in another one. Conversations show tool activity and reasoning summaries, and you can queue follow-ups or redirect an active task. Saved sessions stay searchable and grouped by project; an Activity view shows which tasks are running, finished, failed, or waiting for input.
The coding workspace includes Git diffs, staging and commits, file browsing, and session terminals. Git worktree support lets you keep branch work separate, while agents can create and message other sessions for parallel tasks. An in-app browser lets you annotate page elements for a prompt or watch an agent operate tabs and take over when needed.
One-time and recurring schedules handle repeat tasks. GooeyPi also brings skills, plugins, prompts, and MCP servers into one capabilities view, with optional TryCUA computer control through a separate CUA Driver.
Dictation can use local whisper.cpp without an API key, or cloud services from OpenAI, Groq, and Deepgram. Optional voice keys use the operating system's encrypted storage; coding-agent provider credentials remain with Pi, OMP, or Prime Agent.

Halo puts Claude Code and Codex in a visual desktop app for people who want AI agents to work with files, write code and handle recurring tasks. It runs on macOS, including Intel and Apple Silicon, Windows and Linux. The desktop app doesn't require a separate backend server. Model access uses Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek or compatible APIs, so running the app locally doesn't make those services offline.
