Natively is a desktop AI meeting assistant and interview copilot that combines live answers with on-device transcription. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, and suits people who want help during calls, searchable meeting records, or lecture summaries. It's source-available, with free personal and non-commercial use and paid offerings.
The app captures system audio and your microphone separately, transcribes the conversation, and uses its context to suggest answers, clarify points or propose follow-up questions. It works with Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams without adding a meeting bot. Its overlay can hide from screen sharing while remaining visible to you.
Local speech recognition includes Whisper and other on-device models. On Apple Silicon, it can use CoreML and Metal acceleration; Windows supports DirectML, and CPU transcription is also available. Apple's on-device speech recognition provides another macOS option without sending audio to a speech provider.
For answers, Natively supports local LLMs through Ollama as well as cloud models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google using your own API keys. Local transcription processes audio on your machine; cloud providers process the requests you send them. An optional hosted service handles AI generation, speech-to-text and web search.
Meeting notes capture decisions, action items and notable moments. A history dashboard supports search and export, while local meeting memory uses SQLite vector search to retrieve details from earlier conversations.
