Short Video Factory is a desktop app that edits and renders supplied footage locally on Windows, macOS and Linux. It helps creators produce product marketing clips and topic-based short videos in batches. Script generation uses a configured OpenAI-compatible API; remote providers receive those prompts. EdgeTTS narration uses Microsoft Edge’s online speech service.
A product selling point or content topic, together with video clips, supplies the starting material. The app combines generated copy, narration, footage and subtitles into videos. Batch tasks repeatedly assemble clips according to presets, reducing the editing needed for a series of related videos.
The application accepts multiple video formats and supports Chinese, English and other languages. Its desktop interface brings script generation, speech synthesis and video composition into one workflow. Local video processing and its online AI or speech connections are separate parts of that workflow.
