MoneyPrinterTurbo is a self-hosted AI video generator for creators producing shorts from topics or keywords. It automates the production workflow while letting you supply your own content at each stage.
- Script to finished video: Generate or rewrite multilingual scripts, add narration, select footage, create subtitles and assemble clips with background music.
- Footage choices: Use your own images and videos, stock from Pexels, Pixabay or Coverr, or external AI video services including Seedance and MiniMax H3; compatible image services can supply stills for moving clips.
- Audio and captions: Generate, upload or omit narration, adjust subtitle appearance, and choose local, random or AI-generated background music.
- Batch production and publishing: Produce multiple videos, review task history, export vertical, horizontal or square formats, and upload finished videos to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
The MIT-licensed project runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, with Docker support, a browser interface, an API and a command-line interface. Ollama supports local language models; cloud alternatives include OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and DeepSeek. Speech integrations include Chatterbox, Kokoro, Edge TTS and ElevenLabs.
Video assembly runs locally. Cloud models, hosted speech services, online footage and AI media services require internet access and send requests to their providers. A GPU is optional; the stated minimum is a four-core CPU and 4 GB of RAM. A dedicated GPU can speed up local faster-whisper transcription and heavier video processing.
