T3 Code is a locally hosted interface for developers who want to control coding agents on their computer, including from another device. Its server and web app run on your machine, but model processing depends on the connected provider. With the standard Claude Code cloud connection, prompts and model responses travel over the network to its model service.

The interface works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, OpenCode and Google Antigravity through your existing provider subscriptions. It requires an authenticated provider on your computer. The application is free and open source under the MIT license; that doesn't make the connected providers' model usage free.

An Electron desktop app is available for macOS, Windows and Linux, with packages for Debian, Ubuntu and Arch Linux. You can also use the browser interface or access the agents from iOS and Android apps. Remote access lets you control work on your computer from a phone or another machine.

Project settings and permission modes give you control over how agents work within a repository. The interface also includes keyboard shortcuts and appearance preferences, plus support for multiple Claude and Codex accounts. MCP connections let Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT and other agents connect to T3 Code.

The distinction is where control lives: you host the interface and run the connected agent software on your computer, while model execution depends on the chosen provider and configuration. T3 Code's maintainers warn that users should expect bugs.
