This live build connects Archon to Jira so each ticket can hold a persistent conversation with a coding assistant. The speaker builds a community adapter that receives comment events and posts replies on the same issue. Automatic ticket pickup and pull request creation belong to separate workflows; the adapter provides the conversation entry point.
The implementation uses Archon's PIV system evolution workflow, with context loading, planning, validation and human approval gates. An older workflow copy runs Opus for implementation rather than the speaker's intended planning step. The session also includes a Google Antigravity experiment with Gemini 3.5 Flash, whose layouts the speaker likes but whose generated documentation he finds inaccurate.
Setup covers a Jira Cloud domain, email and API token, plus a webhook secret and a text trigger for Archon. A public ngrok tunnel forwards events to the local server on port 3000. Testing exposes mismatched environment variable names, a mistyped webhook URL, plain-text comment bodies and missing issue fields.
The final demonstration receives a ticket question and posts an answer using the speaker's Jira account, then handles a follow-up with conversation history. It does not demonstrate a completed ticket-to-PR run. The open source adapter remains local at the end, with publication planned.
