T3 Code is presented as an open source front end for coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex. The speaker explains how it brings existing agent logins into one workspace, with a separate conversation thread for each task. It relies on an installed, authenticated coding assistant to do the work.

The walkthrough covers Git worktrees, which give concurrent tasks separate working copies and branches. The speaker describes a flow for reviewing diffs, committing changes, pushing a branch and opening a pull request. T3 Code generates PR text and supports draft and stacked PRs, plus updates to existing requests. A built-in terminal and page preview support the example HTML task and subsequent revisions in the same thread.

For local setup, the video gives npx t3@latest and specifies Node 22.16 or newer for the server component. It also gives brew install --cask t3-code for macOS and mentions Windows winget and Arch Linux AUR options. The speaker describes browser access, an Electron desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux, and iOS and Android apps.

The self-hosted workflow described places the backend on a home server, Raspberry Pi or rented machine for remote control. This concerns agent orchestration rather than a claim of offline model execution. The speaker cautions that the project is early, with bugs and missing features, and recommends experimentation before relying on it for production work.
